For most jobs, just make sure we can access the areas we need to work in — clear furniture away from walls where sockets or switches are being fitted, and ensure the consumer unit is accessible. For larger jobs like rewires, we will discuss preparation in detail before we start.
It depends on the scope. A socket or light fitting can be done in under an hour. A consumer unit upgrade takes half a day. A full house rewire for a 3-bed property typically takes 5 to 7 working days. We will always give you a clear timeline before starting.
Yes. All notifiable work is certified and registered with Building Control through NICEIC. You will receive the appropriate electrical installation certificate or minor works certificate for every job. These are essential for insurance, property sales, and your own records.
We accept bank transfer, debit and credit cards, and cash. Payment is due on completion of the work unless we have agreed a staged payment plan for larger projects. We never ask for full payment upfront.
